Courtney Fairchild honored as 2015 Brava! Executive Winner

Washington, D.C. (July 30, 2015) – Global Services, which delivers winning strategies for every stage of marketing to the government, announced today that President and CEO Courtney Fairchild has been awarded SmartCEO’s Brava! Award, which celebrates the distinguished achievements of Greater Washington’s top women business leaders.

“I am humbled to be included in this distinguished list of awardees. I am privileged to lead such a tremendous team of professionals at Global Services and represent all of their hard work at the event,” said Courtney Fairchild. “Our team has successfully transitioned the company’s focus from federal sales to assistance with proposal development and this award signifies that accomplishment. “

The Brava! Awards program celebrates female CEOs, nonprofit leaders and high-impact executives who combine their irrepressible entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for giving back to the community. Brava! Award winners are exemplary leaders of both their companies and their communities. They encourage local philanthropy, mentor up-and-coming leaders and set their companies on the path to tremendous growth. Each year, an independent committee of local business leaders selects winners based on company growth, community impact and mentoring.

Each year the Brava! Awards celebrate the distinguished achievements of 40 of Greater Washington’s top women business leaders. This year’s class collectively generates more than $2.49 billion in annual revenue and employs 7,958 individuals. The winners will be profiled in the July/August issue of SmartCEO magazine and celebrated at an awards ceremony on July 30, 2015.

“Brava winners possess the hallmark qualities of successful leaders — vision, passion, compassion, dedication, perseverance. Each winner in this year’s class exhibits these qualities in all facets of her life, from running her business to tending to her family and donating time and resources to philanthropic initiatives,” says Jaime Nespor-Zawmon, president of SmartCEO Events. “We are honored to recognize a group of women who are truly making a difference in the world.”
