When things go your way as a federal contractor, some of these terms will represent the names of the contractual mechanisms used when federal agencies pick you to fulfill their requirements. This is the language used in conversations among vendors and federal buyers. If you crack open the data dictionary associated with the U.S. Government’s database housing information about fiscal contract obligations, only two of the names shown are listed. This presents a market research challenge.
